- Accruals and budget management
- Portfolio baseline
- Data management - Data and document capture
- Improved management information
All services are accessed via a web portal over the internet and continuously available.
Invoice validation
Depending on your requirements, we can provide a range of services from a simple periodic reconciliation of utility billing and payment, up to a fully integrated solution by which the client passes to UESL control of invoice analysis, checking, query resolution, processing and payment.
Budget profiling
To support better forecasting UESL can provide separate budgets - for each utility and site - tailored to fit with the client's own accounting periods. This service initially combs available historic invoicing details; then it updates from validated invoices or from smart metering (where installed). Every budget is checked against a validated invoice leading to a sequence of reports and actions.
Accruals and budget management
Where smart metering has been installed, UESL can calculate accruals in line with business financial periods, based on real meter readings extracted nightly. With the provision of budget profiling and invoice checking budgets are always kept in line with real reads from supplier bills, ensuring that the budget becomes the accrual for that period as it's based on the best data currently available.
Portfolio baseline
UESL have the systems capability to capture a raft of critical data for every site a client has (including utility meter details) in order to compile up to date 'house lists'. This can be made available to all parts of the business via a web portal providing a uniform view. The portal enables the sites to be held in line with how the business is organised; reports and data can be readily extracted according to the client's needs.
Data management - Data and document capture
UESL can support your business by capturing and maintaining the following data:
- site name, location and description
- information about the fabric of buildings and their consumption statistics required by energy efficiency legislation. Your operational business imposes
- further informational and reporting requirements required by your operational business.
UESL has developed a system to hold this level of detail to service the utility administration of the site and the reporting and data requirements required by the operational side of the business.
Alternatively, UESL can provide you with a system to support your own capacity tailoring an approach to best suit your current and forecasted needs, be it on provision of a licensed system through to a complete outsourced service.
The data is held in a fully secure data warehouse accessible to your business over an internet based web portal with stringent access security.
Improved management information
The data management system enables customer scripted report generation that can be mapped to any organizational layout reporting to any level of aggregation you require. Once the data is captured and all utility administration details are held at meter level, then reporting or supporting queries is very flexible and easy. The data is easily downloaded into your existing systems or into spreadsheets for local analysis.
